A breath of cool, fresh air
I woke up this morning to hear that the temperature was 68 degrees. My heart jumped for joy. The high still might be in the 90s, and I still arrived to work a bit sweaty, but the cool breeze I enjoyed on the way was wonderful.
One of the best rewards of cycling for me, is to be outdoors when the sun is shining high in the sky, but also being able to create your own breeze. I’ve little idea of what it feels like in your part of the world when temperatures and humidity rise, but I think we had a taste earlier this year when it became very oppressive. Without my own cycling induced breeze, I think I’d have had to cancel my commute rides a few times.
