Rock star parking

By Elisa | 3 Comments »

Another benefit of riding is the up close parking you are afforded.  Seriously, can you get any closer?  Probably not!

Not having to walk to a destination is a bonus for riders year round.

This was spotted on the street…a John Deere bike?  LOVE IT

So true – ease of parking is one of the best things about riding a bike! My husband and I recently met friends for dinner just about 2 miles from home and they were going to stop by our house afterwards. We locked up our bikes just outside the restaurant and even though we had to unlock, and don rain gear, etc., because they had to walk several blocks to where their car was parked, we still beat them to our house by at least 5 minutes!

I’m originally from AL, so have enjoyed seeing your posts about biking in B’ham. I graduated from UAB way back in ’93 :)
