What I’m wearing

By Elisa | 7 Comments »

Once I recover from Bike Fest 2009, I will be letting you in on the fun. Until then I will share a few outfits that show what I have been wearing to ride these days. Skirts, boots, knee socks and sweaters seem to be my uniform. Dresses are running a close second.

What are you wearing these cozy fall days?

Last night, I made a mistake in dressing to go out: a summer dress with heavy wool peacoat and pretty cotton scarf, with knee socks and clogs. It was 37 degrees when the movie let out. Should have had: tights or leggings. Boots. A hat under my helmet. We’re sliding quickly from fall into winter here, and I was NOT prepared. Brrr!

Skirts with black tights and my Geox boots are my preferred clothes. When it get’s really cold, I also need legwarmers.

    Pretty much still this:

except with a tan kilt and without the tights or the face-mask — unless it is below 15 F, like it was earlier this week. I did forget tights last Friday, too, when it was 0 F when i rushed out the door. Cozy fall days indeed! ;-)

Looking great, as always. I absolutely love the first outfit, that ethereal dress grounded by the earthy tights and boots. I’ve been wearing a lot of tights, dresses and boots, too.
