OK, that Sloss Furnace is about the coolest backdrop I can imagine. Gives it a very gritty, industrial feel. Almost cold-war. I can practically hear Yakov Smirnoff, “In Soviet Russia, cross race DNF’s YOU!”

Awesome pics. I heard about this race and almost wish I had made the trek to ride in it. I love cross its such a different style of racing. Glad you had a good time, you should seriously consider doing a race. They are fun!
