1.    What kind of bike do you ride? DiamondBack Reactor ProXL, Deluxe ProXL, Sano Road, Surly Crosscheck, Schwinn Traveler, Surly 1×1

Is there a story behind that?  No story, I just love bikes, and love to ride them.
2.    When did you start riding? 1997
3.    How often and where do you ride? I try to ride everyday. Where I ride depends what I’m riding that day, since I’m into nearly every aspect of cycling its tough to squeeze it all in. I love cruising around the city. But my true love is BMX, the track and the trails. I could spend my life there.
4.    What is your favorite aspect of riding in Birmingham? The friends. Its awesome to have a community, people to laugh and ride with.
5.    What are the things you would like to change about riding in Bham?  I’d love to have a way to make it more cycling friendly. Get some more money into it and have more events.
6.    Any particularly awesome story? I have way too many awesome stories to list here, 12 years of racing provides lots of good times.
7.    Why do you ride?  I ride because I love it. I don’t see myself ever not on a bike.

Jesse is a mechanic at Bici and one bad ass rider.  He is also on the Bici Coop Dapper Lads team for FM24. This kid can sprint like nothing you have ever seen! Thanks Jesse…we love you!

Are there good BMX tracks in the ‘Ham?

BMX was my first real bike love…those were the days. I’m very tempted to go “cruiser weight” at the local track…if they still have such a designation. I was never great at it, but nothing puts a smile on my face faster than tabletops and rollers.
