My hubby saw a blurb on this cargo bike from Larry vs. Harry on Wired, and passed it on to me. Pretty freaking cool, I think.

The article also links to this video of a dog riding in the cargo area, and I think the best thing about it is that rockin’ music : )

As a proud owner of a Surly Big Dummy/Xtracycle bike, I highly recommend investing in a cargo bike. These modern long/short johns are really nice bikes, but you don’t need to go that route. An Xtracycle add-on kit mated to an old mtn. bike frame will get you most of the utility at only a fraction of the cost.
