This is where we live-Woodlawn
I recently wrote about Woodlawn, the place where my commute takes me daily. This Saturday, T Scott and I took a lovely ride to photograph some of the area. I forgot my camera battery (oops), so only T was able to take photos. Let’s face it…his are tons better than mine anyway. I call this Freddy Mercury’s Photo Diary
Enjoy

we found a community garden!

T's bike on the railroad tracks (same ones where I took a spill!)

Graffiti wall-loved it

wle-I don’t know what it is about…it is just painted on a fence when you leave Gate City and enter Woodlawn. Behind the fence is an house with old school bus and various remains of cars and whatnot in the yard.
I use a Nikon D3. These were taken with a 85mm/1.4 lens.
These photographs beautifully capture the character and feel of the neighborhood. Very interesting!
Very nice, TSC.
